Data used to provide the service
TradingCardScanner stores your account email, account profile, scan photos, recognition results, confirmed listing fields, and scan-credit records. Photos and results require authenticated access by their account owner. Upload only photos you are authorized to use; avoid including personal information in card photos.
Recognition and catalog providers
When a photo is sent for recognition, your image and an identification prompt are sent to EvoLink to run the selected Gemini model. TCGdex receives extracted card names and numbers for catalog matching, rather than your photo or account credentials. These services process the requests under their own policies.
Storage and billing
Account and scan records are stored in Cloudflare D1. Uploaded photos are stored in private Cloudflare R2 storage and served only to their authenticated account owner. Customer support emails are forwarded to the operator's support inbox.
Paid purchases are not available during the free beta. If paid plans are enabled, Creem will process payment-card details; this app will store order, subscription, refund, and credit records, rather than full card numbers.
Optional analytics and cookies
Authentication cookies maintain your session. We store your analytics preference in browser local storage. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity load on public information pages only after you allow optional analytics. They can collect technical device and browsing information; Clarity can record interactions on those public pages. Advertising storage and personalization are disabled in our integration. Scan, review, account, sign-in, and payment pages are excluded.
Google Analytics receives public page paths without query strings or referrers; we do not send account IDs, uploaded photos, or listing fields as analytics events. Clarity observes the public page URL, which can include its query string, so never place sensitive information in public-page URLs. Change your choice using Cookie settings in the site footer. Rejecting optional analytics does not prevent scanning or account access.
Retention and privacy requests
Photos and saved results remain available for account history until deletion is requested. Photos do not expire automatically. Request access, correction, or deletion through Contact; we verify account ownership before processing a request. If paid plans are enabled, necessary payment and refund records may be retained for billing obligations. Self-service account deletion is not yet available; contact support to request deletion.
Current operating status
TradingCardScanner is available as a free public beta. Each account receives 10 total trial scans and can upload up to 3 photos per batch. Paid plans and CSV export are not available yet.
