HOW TO SCAN POKÉMON CARDS

Get a clear photo. Check the details.

A readable photo helps the scanner find catalog candidates. Your review determines which card goes into the listing draft.

01

Photograph the full card

Place one English, ungraded card in the photo. Keep all four corners in view and avoid glare over the name and collector number. Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP file.

02

Compare the catalog record

Check the name, set, and full collector number against your card. If the suggestion is wrong or missing, use manual catalog search to choose the right record.

03

Confirm your card and finish

Inspect the card’s actual finish and condition, then enter your selling price and confirm the details. Your draft stays in your account; CSV export is coming soon.

IDENTIFYING YOUR CARD

What to check on a Pokémon card

Use these details together to review a suggested match or narrow a manual catalog search.

Card name

Use the printed name, including suffixes such as ex. Compare the complete name with the catalog record rather than confirming from the Pokémon’s name alone.

Collector number

Keep the printed card number readable in your photo. Compare the full number with the catalog record, including the number after the slash when it is present.

Set

Check the set alongside the name and number. If those details do not agree with your card, search manually and choose a different catalog record before confirming.

Pokémon card scanner FAQs

Does the scanner list cards on eBay automatically?

No. The scanner identifies cards and saves listing drafts for your review. CSV export and the eBay draft template option are planned for paid plans, which are not available yet. There is no eBay account connection or automatic publishing.

Can the scanner value, grade, or authenticate my cards?

No. You inspect the actual card and choose its finish, condition, and selling price. The scanner identifies catalog candidates; it does not appraise cards, assign grades, or verify authenticity.

Do failed scans use my credits?

Processing errors, unreadable photos, and unsupported languages restore the reserved scan credit. A readable result that needs manual catalog matching uses one scan. Manual corrections and reusing the same photo result in your account do not use another scan.

Which plans include CSV export?

CSV export is not available yet. You can currently use 10 free scans per account, with up to 3 photos per batch, to identify cards and save reviewed listing drafts. Collector, Seller, and Pro Seller are planned paid options; their prices and features are shown on the pricing page.

Which trading cards can I scan?

The scanner supports English, ungraded physical Pokémon TCG single cards, with one card per photo. Other trading card games, non-English cards, graded cards, and digital Pokémon TCG Pocket cards are outside the supported scope.
